Customers may either choose to renew or refurbish their existing Reglit channelled glass or consider new options like Pilkington Profilit. Should they wish to continue their relationship with our Pilkington brand, we aim to make the process as simple and streamlined as possible.

Over the past 50 years, Pilkington Profilit components have evolved significantly. Our new systems offer improved u-values, sound reduction, and solar gain values that surpass what was achievable in the 1970s and 1980s. This means that while the aesthetic can be preserved, it can now be achieved in a more energy-efficient manner, making glass refurbishment a more sustainable option. Additionally, Reglit channelled glass enhances these benefits, further contributing to energy efficiency.

Our Renewal Platform process involves four distinct stages: Identification, Project Options, Outline Advice, and Budget Costings, all of which can include various solutions such as glass refurbishment, including the use of Pilkington Profilit and Reglit channelled glass.

Stage One - at Glass Profiled Solutions, we confirm from our records that you are an existing Reglit customer. This will allow us to discuss the existing specification and configuration of your Pilkington Profilit glazing installation, as well as any potential glass refurbishment needs.

Stage Two - Subject to Building Control amendments from when your system was originally installed and following a review of your present Pilkington glazing, including options like Pilkington Profilit and Reglit channelled glass, we can suggest full or part renewal, refurbishment, or simply maintenance for glass refurbishment.

Stage Three - Following your decision, whatever that may be, we can design, supply, and install to match your existing glazing, or we can discuss a refreshed alternative such as Pilkington Profilit glass with obscure patterns instead of the previous clear. This is an excellent option for your glass refurbishment needs, especially if you're considering Reglit channelled glass.

Stage Four - If you decide to proceed with your chosen option, we will provide reliable costings that you can depend on before making your final decision. Once you agree, we will design, supply, and install your new Pilkington Profilit glazing, ensuring it is perfect for decades to come. This includes high-quality Reglit channelled glass as part of our glass refurbishment process.
