One of our standout retail projects is the Profilit glazed facade at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin, completed for Vision Contracting. Their Head of Construction described Glass Profiled Solutions' approach as combining "professionalism and proactive approach to design development, logistics, including the on-site installation team and BCAR documentation", and noted that the finished facade "surpassed expectations".

Profilit's large spans - up to 7,000mm, with intermediate support at 3,500mm - allow retail and leisure buildings to achieve bold, expansive glazed elevations without the visual interruption of conventional framing. Light transmission of up to 86% keeps retail and leisure interiors bright and welcoming, while the system's range of colours, patterns and illuminated options (as seen in our Carpe Futurum project in Uppsala) gives architects scope for distinctive, branded facades

Durability matters in high-footfall environments: Profilit glass meets EN 12600 impact classification and Part N/Part P safety glazing requirements, with barrier loading up to 3.0kN/m suitable for balustrades and public areas. The system is CWCT-tested for weathertightness, giving confidence in exposed retail and leisure applications, and Pilkington Profilit channel glass is classified A1 (non-combustible) to EN 13501-1 and supports fire safety strategies in buildings with high occupancy
